By following our restricted policy, we aim to create a positive environment where high-quality patient care and staff satisfaction are our top priorities. These guidelines are in place to protect everyone involved and to ensure that we continue to provide the best possible service.

Appointments:
- Our clinics operate by appointment only; no walk-ins are available.
- Same-day visits are always available at no extra charge.
Upfront Treatment Plan and Cost:
At our clinic, transparency is key, to ensure you are fully informed about your treatment:
- Upon consultation and seeing the patient in person, we provide a detailed treatment plan and the treatment cost upfront before the service begins.
- This ensures no surprises and no obligation on your part.
Insurance Reimbursement:
- Statements for insurance reimbursement (superbills) are available by request only. Please contact our office for superbill requests. Our processing time is 3 to 5 business days.
Appointment Booking:
- To hold and secure your appointment, we require to have credit card on file.
- There is a $50 charge for no-show, same-day cancellation fees and/or notice to reschedule is given less than 24 hours in advance.
- For late arrivals, we only allow a 10-minute grace period. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be canceled.
Follow-Up Visits:
- A follow-up visit is required to apply your 30-day guarantee within 7 days of the initial visit.
- Follow-up visits cost $65 per patient.
- Follow-up visits are by appointment only and are available on Tuesdays and Saturdays. To schedule a follow-up visit, please call or text 949-549-1500.
- A follow-up visit includes a second full treatment of 30 minutes; it is not a re-check.
Hair Preparation:
- You must arrive with dry, tangle-free hair. Tangled hair is subject to an additional $50 comb-out fee.
Operating Hours:
- We see the last client at 8 PM. Any after-hours service will incur an additional charge of $125.
Cancellations:
Your appointment is reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least a 24-hour notice for cancellations.
- 24-Hour Notice: Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
- Cancellation Fee: Any cancellation made less than 24 hours in advance will result in a cancellation fee.
- Same-Day Cancellations: Deposits for same-day cancellations are non-refundable.
Late Arrivals: 10-Minute Grace Period:
We strive to maintain our schedule to provide timely and effective service to all our patients.
- We hold your appointment for a 10-minute grace period.
- If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your deposit will not be applied to the visit.
Holiday Fees:
- An additional fee of $200 will be applied for services needed on major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's).
School Screenings and Group Visits:
- Advanced notice is required for school screenings and large camp groups.
House Calls/ Mobile Service:
- We charge a minimum of $200 for house calls/mobile service
- An additional travel fee applies for mobile/ off-site visits ($50-$125), that amount will be determined upfront based on the patient's location.
- After 8pm house call/ mobile service there will be additional $125 after hours fees.
We guarantee treatment if the following are met:
- All family members, including nannies/babysitters, have been checked and treated by Nits N Lice Care Clinics.
30-day Guarantee Policy: At Nits N Lice Care Clinics, we are dedicated to providing thorough and effective lice removal, ensuring no nits or lice are left behind. Our 30-guarantee is designed to give you peace of mind and confidence in our services.
- In very rare cases if the patient believes they still lice/nits left behind after follow-up visit is completed; the patient will be scheduled to come in person for a second examination. If the exam results are positive, a second treatment will be applied free of charge at no extra cost. However, if the exam results are negative, no nits/lice were found the patient will be responsible for their consultation/head check of $50.
- Your 30-day guarantee does not cover free re-head checks. Patient should be checked at home or contact our office if you need assistance on how to check and what to do to avoid the unnecessary charges.
Follow-Up Visit Requirement:
- To ensure the 30-day guarantee is valid, a follow-up visit is required within 7 days of the initial treatment.
Addressing Concerns During the Guarantee Period:
- If you experience itchiness and suspect remaining lice, please send pictures of the lice/nits via text message during the 30-day guarantee period.
- Re-head checks are not included in the 30-day guarantee period, if no nits/ lice are found and subject to $50 head check/consultation charge.
- If nits/lice were found during the 30-day guarantee period, unlimited treatment will be received as needed (free of charge) under the term of the guarantee.
- Upon receiving the pictures, our experts will assess whether the issue is lice related. If we determine that the pictures do not indicate the presence of lice and you still wish to be seen, the visit will be considered a follow-up visit, and the $65 will apply.
- To avoid any additional charge during the 30-day guarantee, please make sure to contact our office at 949-549-1500 to address any concerns you might have before scheduling to discuss and evaluate your case to see if your 3rd visit is necessary.
